Mosquito Menace
Now people living in the cities are suffering acutely from mosquito menace. The problem has become so serious that it has almost paralyzed normal activities of people. Students can’t give concentration on their studies. People can’t do any work sitting at their home. Even the patients of the hospitals are not safe from their clutches. Every pond and ditch of our locality has been filled with mosquito. They have become their safe breeding places. After sunset lots of mosquitoes entering the houses start biting human beings. They suck blood from human body. People use various insecticides and coil to prevent them but they are of no use. We know different diseases like dengue, malaria and elephantiasis are spread through the mosquitoes. If these diseases spread in an epidemic form, they may cause a heavy toll of human lives. The mosquitoes have destroyed the peace of human beings. The city corporation should take immediate steps to clean the ponds and spray insecticides in the area. At the same time the city dwellers should be aware and they should keep their surroundings neat and clean.
