A parrot is a beautiful bird. It has a round head, a curved beak and a long tail. Its feathers are green in colour but the beak is red. In nature it moves in flocks. It chatters quite a lot. The special ability of a parrot is to imitate sounds including the human voice. People often catch a parrot, put in a cage and teach it how to speak. When trained, it can call the people by their names and ask or answer question to human beings. Many people have parrots as pets. Parrots can imitate people easily. The parrots add to our natural beauty. They also enhance the beauty of our inhabitants and dwelling houses. They are the wonderful gifts of Allah. They have many kinds and qualities. We should take a good care of them.

Your letter is just to hand. You wanted to know about the national bird of ours. The Doyel. It is a black and white bird. It is small in size. It has a long tail which has actually no rest. It means a Doyel almost always moves its tail. It has a noisy cry. It has a habit of stealing bright small objects. A white coloured ring encompasses its throat.
