Man
has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He is never satisfied with what he
has known and seen. He wants to know and see more and more. this curiosity to
know more coupled with his indomitable spirit of adventure, has inspired him to
undertake and carry out difficult and dangerous tasks. In the fields of science
and technology man has already achieved want which was once inconceivable.
After the conquest of the moon, the scientists have turned their eyes to the
mars, which is our next-door neighbor in the kingdom of the planets. the
scientists have launched the most massive research program in the history of
space exploration with their Viking mission to mars. The Russian scientists
were able to land a capsule in 1971 and then another in 1974. The first one
transmitted Television signals only for twenty seconds before it became dead.
Following this mission American scientists continued their mission. Then on September 3, 1996 Viking-11
landed on the rock-strewn Utopia plain just below the north polar cap of Mars.
The most important purpose of July
4, 1997 the path finder of this mission very successfully landed on
the mars. The robot Sojourn is working well and the press report that mankind
within the next 15 years will land on the mars.

A cyclone is a violent
storm which revolves at high speed. It is accompanied with lightening and
thunder and often by heavy rainfall. Cyclone originates from the low pressure
of the wind. To fill up the vacuum the wind of the surrounding areas starts
moving in a terrible speed and cyclone occurs thereby. Low pressure in the bay
of Bengal is the cause of cyclone in Bangladesh . A cyclone for a few
hours but the havoc caused by it is beyond description. It blows down houses
and buildings, uproots the trees, sinks boats, steamers, launches. Tidal bore
made by cyclone lasts washes away thousands of people, cattle-heads and damages
standing crops. The miseries of the affected people know no bounds. The people
suffer for want of food and drinking water. Various epidemics bread out all
over affected areas. The cyclone of 1985 and 1991,2007 were very devastating.

What
is education? It is much more than the knowledge we find in books. If a man is
truly educated he will know how to lead a happy and useful life and to be a
good citizen of the country. He will learn how to behave with people. He will
discover a world of knowledge and will be aware of the good and evil of this world.
He will be directed by his sense of right and wrong. A wise man is one who is
able to think clearly and can act accordingly. A clever man is not always the
best educated one knowledge is very useful, but knowledge does not make a man
wise if he cannot use it for the betterment of his country and people. Wisdom
guides us to make best use of our knowledge.

Ans: Education is much more

Ans: Education is not mere
bookish knowledge. It is much more than that. A truly educated man learns how
